leather spectacle case

Has anyone made a case for a pair of specs? I have some leather and fancy making a case but not sure whereto start.

I hevent made anything of leather as yet, but as for an idea what about an oval tube with one end fixed and the other a cup type lid, with a felt liner.

Funnily enough, I made one of those only last week, but I forgot to take a pic of it before it went ..

It was a simple slip-in pouch, in veg-tan leather, with a soft pig skin lining to prevent scratches to the lenses.

Sort of similar to this one.

IMHO that really is quite a wondrous thing you made there !

It would not be my choice for a glasses case (I don't use one to be honest, and prefer the just leaving them around technique lol), but I can can still fully appreciate the work and detail of the piece
I can imagine something hand crafted like that could become a cherished and treasured possession, if received as a gift.
