leather sheath for boker bowie

i was asked by a customer to make him a leather sheath for a boker bowie that he had, he gave me a free reign on this, which i like sometimes, as i can then express my self, so of to the drawing board i went, now this is something different to what i would normally do, but i have been practicing a lot just lately with braiding and plaiting various things, and wanted to incorporate in this sheath what i have learnt.
i went with a spanish lace on this one.
