Leather Goblet

Hey All

Recently I've been experimenting by making a variety of leather drinking vessels after getting a request to make a leather goblet someone for a family friend. His goblet had a wooden base and stem, but it got me thinking, how viable would it be to make one completely out of leather. Heres the prototype;

What are peoples thoughts?
