Leather fly rod case

A mate of mine has an old Hardy Smuggler 8 piece fly rod that he wanted a leather rod case for.

I've never done one before so it was a bit of hit and miss with everything being done by hand and eye !

I've made the straps to fit the webbing on his fly bag and the top one can turn through 90 degrees so that it can be clipped onto a belt if required.

It needs a final polish but here it is

Nice neat looking bit of work that Robbi. Do you have a picture of it with something beside it for scale? Don't know the rod so have no idea. Reckon it's fairly small though if belt mounted yes?
