A long day dipping folded cow tankards into a vat of hot beeswax finally gave me the chance to finish this piece that I was asked to make for a friend who wanted a Saxon inspired leather drinking horn.

Holds a pint but was a bit of a pig to sew!

It’s actually come out quite well as I had to use a mix of dye to get a horn rather than black colour.

Cheers

Very cool. I'm impressed with the white on brown lines and art work, very neat.

I have absolutely no need for a drinking horn but I want now. Much respect for the sewing, if I had tried that it would probably have been thrown across the deck and abandoned.
