I have to get a train... I so far have: one ruck sack, a hold all, a carrier bag and the child is carrying his clothes in his own bag. I haven't shopped for food as I can't carry it. So I reckon it's a case of getting there, finding someone to help me set up the hammocks that have never been out of their bags, and then finding a lift to the super market! Well, it's one way to meet the natives...
I'd got my kit down to a Sabre 45 with side pouches, and that's it. Then realised that if Mrs S' first bushcraft experience proved to be uncomfortable, then my opportunities to hit the woods would be severely curtailed in future. Hence everything but the kitchen sink - she even wanted to know if we had room for a proper mattress...
