Large duffel pack

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a large pack, something I can chuck all my kit in and lob on the train, coach whatever. Ideally it'd weigh something like 1 or 2 kilo's but I realise I may have to shell out for something like that.

Has anyone had any experience of using any of the following? They're all duffel style packs I think, a sack with some rucksac straps and a roll tip lid.

I have one of these. Used it to go around Thailand in handles a lot of abuse and come with shoulder straps for carrying like a bergan.

Its strong and has taken alot of abuse over the years can recomend them as a cheap alternative to theTNF bag swampy has recomanded (which I have one of too) which I can recommend too.
Their is cheaper alternatives to the tnf bag like the mountain equipment bags that Cotswolds are selling at nearly half price at the moment

The North Face has good duffel bags, and the Rab duffle bags are top noch too.

Maybe more expensive than you were planning but the North Face bags are top notch, I lived out of one for a few years (they are 'tardis' like). They are also tough enough to be sent via international courier and survive the journey.

North Face I've had one for years it has survived being droped out of a chopper being lashed to a motorcycle for weeks of hard riding used as a sled in winter to pull my kids and generally abused and missused I plan on being buried in it. Expensive but will last.
