Lake Viken Sweden

Hi just thought i'd share a few pic's from our recent trip to Sweden. We stayed in a cottage right next to Lake Viken.

Our cottage came equipped with it's own rowing boat so a bit of messing about on the water was in order.

If you look carefully at the tree in the centre of the pic you can see a bird, i'm fairly sure it's an Osprey.

And i reckon this was it's nest.

All in all a fantastic day.

Nice one Sean....I was looking for the bird in the 'above' photo, even downloaded the pic, so I could zoom in, no wonder I couldn't bloody see it, it was in the photo below....lol

Fantastic. We oh so nearly booked a week canoe/camping on Lake Baven this year but opted for a nice Hotel beside Lake Como Italy instead - personally I would have prefered roughing it in Sweden. You decide?
