After 55 years on this planet I thought I'd do a Bushcraft course. I'll drop a few threads kit wise about it but this one is, I hope, interesting to see what people actually bring, and use, participants and instructors.

I thought so too; I thought that there were some nice shinies there, but all in all a practical looking set 
I nearly got kicked off for mine but it did a mean featherstick.

What is the top pictured knife? From its appearance, I'm not sure that I could use it for a prolonged period - for any normal bushcraft-y task... But maybe it works well.
I think that is an older model of the Buck Alpha fixed blade hunter. It was one of the instructor assistants who came from a hunting background.
