I'm trying to find out if anyone knows how I could buy or make a Stand or Rack so I can store my knives and there are alot of them,Out of there sheaths and on display in my cabinet. As at the moment I just have them wrapped and bagged up with the sheaths in separate bags,Something to rest the Blade and Handle on basically.
Any ideas folks
thanks

I have thought about one of those magnetic kitchen knife holders for some time... duno if I'd like it but I guess it would hold a lot of knives for not a lot of work.

There are perspex ones available, where from though is another matter. I've looked, as I want some for myself and was gonna spread the word if I found any but came up against a brick wall.

i've got one i'd part with for the cost of postage and a promise of a beer if our paths were ever to cross- and if you REALLY want one then search out wanderingblade- his name's Mike and he frequents British Blades as well as Ebay, i got mine from him

Yeah I have looked and found nothing aswell,Was thinking of making afew smaller versions of what I had sent to me with my Kukri,Sort of a Wooden collapsible stand thingy

I remember a guy posted up some CAD drawings for you to cut your own out of perspex a while back on BritishBlades , and as mentioned above they are available on ebay , I have made some in the past for single knives and use them at shows to display , there quite easy to make , there are pics of them over on bb as well or on my photobucket ( link below) I am happy for you to copy them if you want to make one

IIRC one of the makers on the forum had shots of their knifes using a small length of branch with a slot cut in it that the blade rested in and kept the knife upright. I presume this was a short term display as the wood may? mark the blade.
