Ok, here's a tricky one. I'm at the point where I want to up-blade from my clipper (it's a great cheap knife as everyone knows, but I yearn for riveted full-tang lanyad blade-bliss). I know there are plenty of places online to buy, but I like to look and feel before a purchase if possible. So my question is:

Does anyone know where, if anywhere, in the London area (or even south of england) there are any shops which have a selection of bushy knives to choose?

Thanks Klenchblaize, I might trek down to the Tunbridge Wells shop, it's quite a nice old town too. The Alan Wood Knives might be budget-busters tho (unless I can't resist!) I was thinking of £60-£100 range (not a lot I know, but I've spent toooooo much money on kit already, if you know what I mean).

Those shops are probably the only ones around the southern england area, and I think my search will probably end back to my mouse. Where would we be without the web????

If you ever get down there, there is a Knife shop in Dover called Hobbies. Hundreds of knives, unfortunately not many "well known" ones. Has a few spyderco's, bucks, gerbers etc. Generally has a scandanavian knives too. Not too many custom makers tho.
