SWMBO did a rare stint at the cooker the other day and needed to open a can of coconut milk. As it happens the kitchen can opener has broken and is still to be replaced. I've been using an opener on a multi tool till a replacement is found.

So picture this - I'm out, SWMBO can't find any of my tools with an opener, Sooo she uses one of my 'arm shaving sharp' knives to STAB the top of the can and lever it open. :yikes:

Apparently I overreacted when explaining what bad form it is to:
a. Use a knife without the owners knowledge/permission (forgivable as a first time mistake, we all make 'em)
b. stab said knife into a metal can when popping to one of a number of our friendly neighbours and borrowing a can opener would have been far easier (common sense).

Gotta love 'em:rolleyes:
