While I do think that the knife laws over your way are excessive and paternalistic I must say that I am horrified at the thought of some dysfunctional person going out with one of these.

I was browsing and came accross these sites and was shocked to see how a traditional tool and woman's self defense weapon has evolved in the West into something else.

I don't buy the argument that it is a utility tool and self defense item for campers etc. as they try and make out.

In Malaysia these are banned.

Probably will be banned here eventually, seems everything is going that way. I have an Emerson Combat Karambit Folder. It is strictly for self defense, no misgivings about it being a camping tool.
