This is how you do it. I love noticeboards like these that are scattered around the woodland, informing the walker about the forestry operations and the progress and development of the woodland itself. I thought this thread could be a tribute to some of the ones you've seen that you enjoyed reading or found interesting in any way.

I went to the woods this afternoon to brush up on I.D skills and found this:

I always stop to read things like this; it adds to the visit if you know some details of what is going on and why.
 
I like the ones where it tells you about the special local flora and fauna to that area.

I too like the second one :).
 
Very true. Most times you'll read something that will tell you about the immediate area in which you're standing and you lift your head and see the place anew.

Indeed. I always like getting info about the area I am visiting. It really helps to 'read the land'.
 
I reckon I'd want more than pepper spray if I saw a grizzly, that or be with someone who runs really slow ;).
 
:lmao: might get myself a high speed, all terrain mobility scooter with pepper spray cannons on so I don't get eaten ;).
