I have been to the MOOT for the last 2 years with my two kids, although they are a bit older (5 and 8 when we atarted) and easier to tell them the dangers i.e. they know fire is hot, knives are sharp etc.
Funny thing with kids is they have a knack of learning things quickly, they learnt the rules and stuck by them. A few indiscretions resulted in a few stern words from me but all in all the people at the MOOT are very friendly and helpful. It is a good atmosphere for children and aslong as they are behaved and polite and stick to the very few rules there are they will have fun.
