Just had some leather

Hi All,
I have just been given some leather, from a sofa manufacturing company, they where getting rid of a load, any way is it any good for working with and making stuff, what type of stuff could I make with it?

Hi, i managed to get hold of some leather off cuts and i made little stuff sacks which i put my flint and steel in along with dry cramp balls and dried grass nest,just the job.I also made a sheath for my mora but to be honest it's a little too thin.Was also thinking of gluing a strip on a board and use as strop?

If it's only thin stuff you could make some bags/pouches for your kit or may be a book cover

You could also glue parts together (textile glue, smells like ammonia) to make a double thickness and have more possibilities.

i find the little offcuts work well as spacers for knife handles
