I am planning on making a sheath for a recently rehandled knife.

I am going to be using a wooden inner sheath wrapped and stitched in 2.5mm veg tan leather.

My question is whats the best way to form the leather around the wood without creasing or wrinkling occuring?

Regards

Soak the leather in luke warm water then place it in the fridge wrapped in cling film for half an hour.

No need for clamps IMO stitch it wet wrap the knife in cling film but not the liner and it wil shrink onto it and burnish it while it dries
