After finding out that Adam of JLT knives, had his workshop not far from where i live, i payed him a visit.
And during the course of our chat, he gave me his prototype entry level knife to try out and see what i thought.

Decided to try it a battoning. So i picked up some pine,alder & blackthorn

So after sawing it in to logs, i let the battle commence !

You can see here how knotty the pine was, but the knife just went straight through it. After seeing what it did to the pine, bothe the alder and the blackthorn surrended

After all the battoning, the knife was still more than sharp enough to carve some kindiling

Did i like it ?, yes, so much so i went back to Adam and purchased one of his woodie clones, and it matches my Cegga !.

Ey up Rob, thanks for posting my knives.

Have you got the pictures of the GB and Cegga yet? Ever since you let me use the Cegga I have been Soooo tempted to trade in my GB.
