Jetboil Zip

Hi guys and gals,

I have been looking at Jetboil systems and as much as I like the ti one Im not gonna spend that amount of money!!

I quite the look of the Zip, small, compact and fairly light.
Have any of you got one or had experience using them? Would love to hear any positives of negatives on them.

Also, do you no if you can use the companion cup with a meths burner? Im assuming the neoprene cover comes off the cup so it would make it alot more flexible or meths could be used as a back of if I ran out of gas.

I would also be open to buying a good condition 2nd hand 1 if any of you want rid of one?

I have the zip (not the ti)'and think its superb, lightweight, compact etc etc! Admittedly I only boil water in it but it's super quick. Great when you just need a quick brew or get some dehydrated scram in your tummy when on walks etc or before you get the fire going!!

As for the meths I'm not sure and yes the neoprene is removable.

Would recommend in a heart beat mate!
