Has anybody saw any of these ,or does anyone remember him ? I think they were made back in the 70,s and 80,s . My mate had a loan of a box set from a work coleague , so he made a copy for me . they are great , i watched a couple last night ,they were pigeon shooting ,making charcoal and fishing for codling .

got a complete set sitting on the shelf down stairs, magical they aree, brings back great memories of sitting there on a Friday evening with my granddad watching Jack

Jack was my hero - pipe and all!

A better time before all the politically correct mob took over

We need a new Jack!

Jack was the inspiration for me to go into the country as a wee boy. His DVDs are on sale at my local Edinburgh mill shop. Waitig to see if I get any birthday money.

I recently bought a copy of The Old Country (book) from a local secondhand book store and what a lovely well written book it is.

Great programme, I remember it well. I am also old enough to remember Jack's regular slot in the "How?" kid's programme way back when. :) Bunty James - now there was a fine woman :)
