Kirk of nike? I googled but it didn't help

Suppose whatever he/it is it's still better than what my buddy said when he said "I look like i should be in a USA state penitentiary prison running the Aryan brotherhood"

:D

"Kirk of nike"….all I could see was a wee symbol on your bunnet, and that was as close as I could make it out :D

I suppose when it gets long enough it'll be a great chest warmer if you tuck it in ;)

My eldest son hasn't had a haircut since….well it was before 2,000 put it that way. It's down to his backside now. Beautful hair, just my Dad and all of his brothers were as bald as eggs, and I can just visualise him laughing his head off at knowing he'd a grandson with hair like that :D
His brother keeps threatening him with the hedge cutters.

My remaining working braincell was not working on all cylinders today :) it's a little seal on my bonnet, i thought your reference to Nike was something to do with ancient Greece and beards, Bod needs more caffeine today me thinks.

It really is great at keeping the wind out already, i also get regularly nudged by family folk as to when my hair and beard will be getting cut, when i say never they still think i am joking

…..just you wait 'til Summer, and you're roasted hot.
There's a good reason for 'May's out' hair and beard shearing. Then come those first smells of Autumn in the air and it was left to grow for insulation again :)

Santaman i don't know how you manage to get through the winter

Last summer i kept my beard short at 1 inch long, strangely i found it kept my head cooler, so strange i found this that i had a bit of a read up and it is due to the increase in my surface area that increased my ability to dissipate the heat, not sure if the same will apply with 10 inches of beard though, not sure the world is ready for my chest rug and beard combo blowing in the wind this summer as i try to keep cool

Guess what ?

It's snowing again !! :hatscarf:
Comes as a bit of a shock after the past few weeks of lovely weather.

Here too Toddy, just been out to get the washing in as I've been dodging hailstones all day. But this was actually sitting as snow on the washing. Still makes it smell fresh. Always like getting the clothes out when it's frosty for that reason.

So did I…..last week :D

Woke up in the middle of the night last night, perishing cold. I minded to see that the plants had been brought in or tucked away in the greenhouse, but I forgot to dig out another quilt too
It wasn't quite cold enough to freeze, but the weather today could have come from the Arctic :hatscarf:

I've been eyeing up the beech hedge and wondering about making Noyau (sp?) since the sunshine last week has finally brought out the buds, but all of the recipes I can find are incredibly heavy on the sugar, and I don't have much of a fondness for oversweet.

Today's weather more or less kept me indoors. I was actually starting to look less wraith like with some colour in my freckles :)
