itchy wool?

having read cowboys post i'm now itching to have a go myself. however, the blankets i've got will have me itching full stop, i was just wondering whether any of you lovely people know any tricks to make it less itchy

Depends on your tolerance level of course, but some of the dutch army blankets are both very thick and soft. Might be worth checking out.

I think Toddy recommends regular hair shampoo for a first attempt, some wools react differently to others though

id recomend either dutch wool blanket or polish or italian all can be purchased for about £12, if your gona put all the effort in to making one you may aswell do it with a nice comfy grade wool;)
