I'd like to heartily recommend this flask. I just bought one for hiking after a slightly frightening incident with a meths stove in a wooded area :Wow: left me thinking flasks are better for day hikes
Today to try it out I filled it up and went for a walk around my village in the snow. I did not carry it in a bag, it was slung over my shoulder using the strap provided, exposed to the wind and snow. The walk was about 3.5 miles in total. At the half way point I drank a mug of tea from it, and it was piping hot.
When I got home I drank the remainder, and again it was pretty much as hot as it would come from the teapot.
So it successfully kept the tea completely hot for over 1.5 hours at an air temperature of less than 2 degrees C.
It also holds a lot of tea, 4 big mugs by my reckoning.
Not the cheapest flask I've ever owned, but it looks like it was a good buy.
