I've been spending more time walking recently uinstead of just sitting in the canoe so Might seem like a daft question but this is a red admiral right?
I was out and about and was quite taken with this so took a picture. Its just I don't recall seeing one since I was a kid and this one seemed bigger than I remember and the two little blue dots at the base of the wings don't appear in any reference pics I have seen.
