I want to do a basic (weekend, 2-3 day) bushcraft course. Based on geographical location (I don't want to travel too far), the following schools all look like possibilities. Does anyone have experience of their courses? Please feel free to PM me if you want to offer comments that you would prefer were not made public.

Nomad
Bushbasics
Dryad
Native Awareness
Oak Hill
UK Survival School
Wildwood
Woodcraft School
Woodlore

Thanks in advance.

I did the Woodlore Introductory weekend a couple of years ago. I thought that it was very good. It certainly encouraged me to take it further so that since then I've done the Fundamental, Arctic, Telemark and I've signed on for the Campcraft in September! :D

I'm booked on the 17th May Woodcraft School Essence of Bushcraft course. I'll possibly post a brief review. It's my first course so I expect I'm after the same kind of thing you are and what I find may be interesting to you.
