Interesting philosophical quote

Just read the November Country Walking and found an interesting quote...

A guy is doing a walk around Lewes with a friend when it starts to rain. She tips her head back and shouts at the sky "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BAD WEATHER. ONLY INAPPROPRIATE CLOTHING!", which strangley stopped the rain...

An interesting point to take to heart maybe?

With proper planning, and with the correct tools/clothing/whatever, any situation can be dealt with...

The best is: you prepare for the reasonable and overlap on each side but you can not be completely be ready at all or any time for all things. There are extreme factors "out there" will sorely test you, knowledge, adaptability, ingenuiety(?), and a cool head and a well thought out (portable) kit, will take you most of the way but "***t happens" and the end results could be danderous or fatal, or breathtakingly glorious, such are the rewards of being out there. Be advised there are no safe places only percieved illusions of safety, you can trade liberty against security but life will be a very dull existance succeptable to the same extreme factors while having missed out on all of that heavenly splendour that the nature gives you.
