Narrow gauge, so it must be an ‘industrial’ railway, not for passenger use. The piles of timber indicate they use it to haul timber.
Many such railways were built for military use in the 1920’s and 30’s, to quickly mobilize the Armed Forces against invading Soviets.

Unimog do a Road Railer for work on and off the railway, its got drop down metal wheels but retains the rubber ones to provide the motive power.

Land Rover with a touch of British Rail, what could possibly go wrong...
I've seen a 360 excavator with road wheels that also had drop down rail wheels as well.
Should be ok, unless it rains or leaves fall on the tracks?

All those vehicles are for wimps.
A proper, arm propelled Hand Car!
Potentially much faster than a Shinkansen!
