Info on a Gransfors double bit

I bought an old gransfors bruks double bit axe and was wondering if anyone knows when they stopped making em in the style. Its a 2 1/2 lb head still has a little blue paint left on the top and bottom edges. Any information on it would be great thanks.

Hi , and welcome to the site . My local shop does GB axes and they stock a double bit working axe and a throwing axe both are 3lb head but just with a different handle .

It seems like your 2.5 lb head might be an older model no longer made in production , they might still make them in small numbers to order .
I'm sure there will be someone along soon that will know all the axes that they make and when yours was made .

Been a little bit since I conld get on. A little recap, I still havent heard anything back from Gransfors Bruks, been a while now. Gonna try to get so pics of my axe up on here and maybe you guys can help me out. I'll try to get em on here tommorow after class.
