LOL....Not too much stuff eh! Never thought you could actually be too prepared! Do you know something we don't? :D :lmao:

Mines very empty in comparisum:

Spare tyre and jack and a couple of tools etc underneath false floor..

Then in the main compartment: Water, tyre pump, first aid kit, and my walking boots with a pair of sock liners and walking socks tucked inside.

With the first few frosts appearing down here in the south I'm starting to plan my winter boot kit, but right now I've nothing more than the usual spare tyre and tools, an (empty) oil can and a 1 gallon water bottle.

Usually when I'm in the car I've got my mobile phone (with car charger) and a coat, but I wouldn't guarantee anything over that...

Not very prepared just yet... ;)

1 microfleece pull-over
1 heavy duty sawing kit.

1 foldable shovel/pic with one side sharpened.
Mulltiple bottles of oil, cleaners, paper.
1 tent
1 slipping bag
1 tarp.
2 first aid packs
1 pair of 16x80 binoculars

Yeah, OK, this is not really a thought kit to answer any special concern, like a bob, I have a big combi van (LT 28) so I rarely empty it, and all that stuff takes no space in a van. What stays is what gets used. But yeah, no major problem living out of the van for some good time. I have 6 places, so some smace is taken by seats, but that still leaves me with a 3 cubic meter trunk and a 3 cubic meter space in front of the rear seats.

Jeez Den thats quite a haul,
While not as thouroughly prepared as you, I normally have enough to stay wherever the car ends up for a few days, food, brew kit, fire lighting, sleeping bag etc etc. It comes quite naturally as I work away from home so most of my travelling is done with a car full of stuff.

Would you mind an impartial suggestion?
I carry a hi-vis vest, too.

Mine is in a seat pocket.

Because when you're broken down, by the roadside, in the rain, in the dark...

you want your vest on *before* you get out of the car.

Fortunately, I've only had to wear it about 3-4 times. Once for a wheel on my car; twice in traffic assists; once for a breakdown in someone else's car.

I am going to put a big fire in the boot of my car.........What I thought was a simple water leak through a split hose has turned out to be a head gasket blown...........Again...........It only had the heads done a few months ago. If anyone is thinking of getting a Mitsi Shogun, don't...............Jon
