Jinsin456 and I had a couple of hours in the wids today.

First time out for both our Husqi hatchets and my wee Gelert stove.

Impressed by both, the hatchets are brilliant wee carvers and can split too.

My stove did 600ml of water to the boil in 3m 50s without a lid.

With a lid it can do 300ml in 2m 20s.

You'll no see my finished article, it split apart after I carved through the bottom of it :lmao:

We were in a wood near Ayr within Auchincruive College grounds.

Grand way to spend a few hours.

Lookin' forward to some nights oot Scott auld champ.

nice wee axe Tam , how did it perform

It's a crackin' wee axe Gaz,great for carving but well up too splitting clogs up to 6" thick.

I've not had a GB wildlife hatchet in my hands but if they're the same size then this one's more than half the price I think.

Can't fault it for the price.
