Idle hands....

I was away camping last week and decided to occupy myself around the campfire......

The top fixed blade sheath wasn't made by me (it came with a knife I bought on here but is left handed - hence selling it in classifieds), but the others are the products of the labours:

This one is for my folder:

The others are for a clipper and a woodlore type;

Not perfect but I'm only practising! A buddy started playing about too and quickly became addicted.

I find it pretty absorbing and relaxing so I'd recommend having a go. Beware the dye though - gloves are a must!!

Where did you get your leather and tools from? Can you recommend somewhere as I really want to have a go at leatherwork.

I got all my tools and leather from Le Prevo - you'll find many people on the forum use them as they're reasonably priced and the service is good. There are of course other places but this seems to be a commonly used source!
