identify this tool ?

sorry for the bad photo chaps, it's not edged but it is a tool

i found this some time ago in the mud of a building site and can't for the life of me figure out what it's proper use is, obviously for making holes, but what in ? anyone help ?

( yep i know it looks like some kind of push dagger but it IS a hole making tool )

Its for tyre repairs.It kind of reams the hole ready for a sticky plug.

hey , nice one, i'd never had thought of that ! i thought it may have been for punching holes in plasterboard and tin.
