ID Challenege

Took this picture yesterday during a Canoe Class on the Union Canal, in the pic what was it the kids were fascinated by ?

Can you ID what it is - Flora or Fauna ?

Well, it's a obviously tiny green humanoid (bending down), presumably some sort of aquatic alien life form!

And there's a frog that's eyeing him up for dinner.

I don't know what it is. Is theresomething looking back down the access up the bank. Top of the picture left of centre

Fauna I think. I think I see a reptilian head a little above the damselfly.

Lovely wee blue azure Damselfies, dozens of them in the vegetation.

Ahhh = always liked them - although some of their actions look to be a pain the neck!

It was hot in the sun 21 degs, still water and lots of vegetation and floating leaves, not lillies. So may have been ideal conditions. They were landing on the out held paddles which the kids loved.

So you can't see that that is an aquatic alien quasi-humanoid bending down?

OK...so the arms and legs are a bit flaky.
