My brother made this for me:

He made it from a German, Solingen blank, the blade is really very thin and, seen in plan view; the handle end of the blank, tapers towards the back. The handle is made up from Yew, copper and black fibre liners.
I'm not sure what I'll be using it for yet, the blade is much thinner than I'm used to so I'll be taking it easy for a while but it's a lovely little thing:)

cheers

My kind of blade. Thin! :) Not sure about those copper liners though. Do they add a lot of weight to the handle? They look nice.

I love the copper with Yew. I imagine you can easily get away with the weight due to the thin blade. Nice job.

nice blade that rancid badger solingen usually good blades ital probably stand up to what you can chuck at it. my only concern is ID be very careful when using it in severe lightning storms with all that copper in it :lmao: :lmao:
