Love this thread. Mondeo's rule. I drove my old one back from Birmingham with a blown head gasket, and i lived in Liverpool at the time. As far as I know, if someone hits you from behind its their fault as you should leave enough space in front of yourself to allow you to stop safely if the car in front stops suddenly.
Ps, I haven't got the car any more but it still hasn't got any duck tape on it!( my cousin has it and its fine, I still love it though.)
