Yay... I'd like to see a pic too. It's not that easy to do it neatly, it feels like you need at least 3 hands to do it!

But this isnt going as well; same template but it doesnt fit. I think the leather stretched.

It is very neat indeed. Nice bit of work there. Have you tried dampening the leather? It should make it easier to stretch the base slightly and also the side should compress a little, should be enough to make them fit together. Are you planning to dip them into beeswax?

Hey, very well done Tengu, but that's not sewing... it's stitching!

I usually manage to get one side looking great and the other like a drunk man's way home.

my stitch length is uneven, but at least they are in a straight line.

I tried using a curved needle but really its easier with a straight.
