My old torch died after many happy years together so I brought one of these. HUGSBY P2 CREE Q5 310 Lumen.

I tend to use a headlamp when bushcrafting and use a bright torch when walking home from the pub. Woods are very dark at night and if your travelling through them, not camping in them, a decent torch is a distinct advantage.
