How to edit "my page"

Hello folks, advice time again please. Most people on here have they're own "avatar" (whatever that is) and some quotes from around the world, at the bottom of each post. How is this done please? Blindingly obvious, but I can't see how it's done! Thanks in advance, Andy...

click on User CP and it is pretty self explanitary mate!

Below it is a brown bar. First option "User CP"
