Gota project i where RWL 34 is the order of the day so my rescent exp with lasers is not going to help

a quick Google finds a Man with a waterjet cutter just down the road.


here it is at work not really that exciting and the camera work isnt the best but wiled away a friday morning

yes its quick tho not as fast as it can go but still a lot lot slower than a Lazer cutter

this was doing one balde but could cut stacked strips not sure how many butlaying round the workshop where some bits he had cut that where 4" thick

this is an abrasive water jet so has a grit in it to do the cutting

I'd not cut too many at once.
The stuff we source at work usually shows an angle on the cut face as the water jet tapers out.
so your first blank (on top) next to the jet would be correct but those getting further away from the nozzle would show bigger errors (relitavly speaking...not massive but bigger).
well that's what we see any way.

yes this one has a dynamic head that can angletthe jet up to 9deg to help correct that (not sure if you can see it workin constantly correcting the jet )

i dont think i will be cutting many layers can only get RWL in 1m strips 40mm wide :(

they had cut a bit of 4" with nice straight sides but that was one piece
