Hot weather plans

had a nice cool swim yesterday, it was rather warm while the sun lasted! helping with a big group of young adults having some adventures today, definitely cooler and some good rain showers...

PHEW !!! What a scorcher ! 42°C at 5pm yesterday evening. We had a small unforecast thunderstorm at around 4am this morning & the outside temp. was 27 °C......that's the warmest night temperature I've ever experienced. Unfortunately the storm hasn't done much to cool things down, it is stiffling at the moment.
Needless to say, meteorological records have been broken but since they are broken every summer now, it doesn't mean a great deal.
