It's been really mild here for the past few weeks, I wish it would snow and/or get really cold again, a dramatic change from last year when we had a meter for nearly all of 3 months here.
Nothernranger and myself have had to put off our planned cold weather outing due to this mild spell, hardly been below zero recently not the -10 to -19 that we are used to.

Sweet potatoes, chopped
a chorizo chopped
a dash of sweet chill
glug of olive oil
wrap in tin foil (double)
leave at the fires edge and stick a few embers on top,..give it 20 mins depending on heat,..
you'll make it your new camp meal,...
