Homemade straight razor.

hi everyone this is my first post so hello. i love making stuff and carving bowls and spoons. one of my recent projects is a straight razor made from an old file.

i hope you like it, total cost was about £10 i had to buy a bit of brass and a drill bit i didn't have. the scales are spalted beech that i milled myself and the file was blunt and rusty in the bottom of an old load of rusty tools.

It shaves, but its pulling a bit, it just needs a few hours of polishing and stropping. but i did shave with it and it does work its just not quite there. it is pulling a little bit.
