Hi all made a new cook kit and a woodgas stove, billy can is made from a stainless pasta storage can than I bought for 50p, the handle is off a paint tin and the mug I bought online. The woodgas stove is made from a Lidl powdered milk tin and an Asda sweetcorn can.

Looks good mate. Mine works as well as my Wild Stove woodgas stove. In fact it will boil a mug off water in the same time but using less fuel as the fire chamber is smaller. The Wild Stove has the advantage of being better at cooking a larger pot as it has a bigger fire chamber so can take more fuel. For solo use though my home made job is actually more fuel efficient.

what sort of volume of wood can the stove handle? enough for a boil? or do you need to keep feeding it

been trying to work out the best size to feed ratio for a while
