Not much Bushcraft, just my mecca from the M4 corridor. Found a great spot to take my son and God son when I'm back there in May and tramped about the snow with a rifle to watch deer disappear as we crunched snow. Loved every second though.

Aberdeenshire stalking, The Lecht and Findhorn. Love it.

Thanks all. No success, the friend that took me out after hinds only got the afternoon of the blizzard off - that was a laugh. Then in the pics with the Landy, it was silent as the grave and crunchy underfoot. Not the best conditions but good for the soul on all counts.

Those trees are the site of my May remote bushy camp with the boys. Can't wait.

The black dog is half Bavarian Mountain Hound (and half Patterdale). He doesn't know when to give up and can follow a day old blood trail under frost, apart from when off the lead and over enthusiastic he is superb. Loves chasing sticks on the beach too.

Lovely pics Dougster, that old snow is now a distant memory for me, considering it was only a few weeks ago! Had a go on my partners, brothers Sako 85 at the weekend, blimey what a bit of kit, i would not want to fire that without a silencer.
