Hello
It's so nice to see new members welcomed like the ones I have been reading, Ive been viewing this site for a week or so and thought I should introduce myself as I've just signed up, I would'nt say I do bushcraft as yet but do whittle occasionaly around a fire with a Mora Whittle knife which is constantly needing sharpening, which did take me a while to master the technic of sharpening as I blunten it more than I sharpened it and used
, my girlfriend and I love camping and being in the wilds of Cornwall, I am 40 / feel 30 in the head most days, im from Bournemouth but my family are Cornish hence the trips camping and scrabbling over the coast, fishing and camp fires. I love watching Ray Mears and Bear or any bushcraft / survival TV. outdoors is a must.
Ive been really keen to go on a Bushcraft weekend or day at some point when time permits as I work abroad frequently, so will take a look at whats happening near me, maybe the New Forest has some?
I purchased a RM 25th Anniversay Knife back a couple of years ago on a whim I totally could'nt afford it at the time, not even thinking I would actually secure one as limited, feel guilty as never used but more importantly it's never been enjoyed.
Anyway I look forward to gaining some great info from the site as I already have, also the knowledge from the members.
Many thanks
Lee
