I'm just posting further to an email encouraging me to say hi. I'm nearly brand new to this (7 years in the army cadets , but have read heaps of books on bushcraft and survival skills. I'm now ready to put this knowledge to good use. I'm looking to do it all on my own and see how far I can push my limits, to find out how I fair against having none (or few) of the every day commodities that I've come to rely on. I'd say I'm a switched on individual, keen to learn and practice within the respected parameters and sensitivities of wild camping. Before I jump in to any thing, I'm working my way through the topics and threads on this forum, to learn as much as possible so it's both enjoyable, legal and safe.....but exciting enough to really test me as an individual
