Hi everyone long time no speak,

I have wanted to re-handle my trusty Frosts Mora for a year or so now and also wanted to create my very own sheath to go with it......however I have 2 things that are standing in the way of this:

1. I'm not sure what a Frost Mora blade looks like without the original handle attached
(I feel I really need to know before I do anything....)

2. I need the leather, I know I can get it from the "le Prevo" website but I don't know which leather to get as there are so many choices!!! =[

Could anyone help or show me a thread with either of these questions already answerd especially with the latter question?

Many thanks

xxJ

P.s. do I need any specialist tools for leather work or can I use stuff from around the house?

You could get away with 2.5mm veg tanned for a frosts. I tend to use heavier leathers for heavier blades. 3.2mm will do it pretty well.

You don't need specialist tools for leatherwork, but it will make life easier if you have some of the basics (an overstitch wheel, an awl, harness needles and a stitch groover).
