Knowing the expertise and knowledge there is out there I am sure I'll get the right answer. I'm over in Florida at the minute (doing nothing more than chilling out around the pool doing the parks etc) at an area south of Orlando called Davenport. I noticed a number of large birds of prey close by they look like eagles but I haven't been able to get a photo yet. I've seen them hunting in pairs and at one time there were 4 in close vicinity of each other. Any idea what type of eagles/BOP they might be? Obscure I know but you guys know a hell of a lot.

lol,
could be Eagle, vulture, kite or harrier spp.

Never been there personally but i do have an American bird guide.

Approx size, wing shape (and any 'fingers' of feather showing),tail shape, colours, streaking, barring.

How does it fly...glide,flap,soar in a thermal etc...

Bet you wished you'd never asked

Wing size, pretty big, fringed wings(single feathers at the tips), soaring on thermals so possibly not a harrier? It did look similar to Toddy's Harris Hawk, although they were above the road whilst I was driving and when I seen them later were at a distance. Thanks people as helpful as always.
