i live in Asturias, near Cordillera Cantabrica mountains.

Spain is the second more mountain european country, first is Swiss.

I think this animal are a "Desman de los Pirineos"...from the Pirineos mountains. (betwen peninsula Iberica and France ), is ok?

this animal are very rare and dificult to see it. Very little poblation.

Asturias is on my holiday destination wishlist!
You are right, it is a pyrenean desman. I have done some mountainwalking in the pyrenees and the sierra de gredos but never found this amazing animal.
