Hi all, came across this forum while planning some extensive trips up north 4 next year, done a bit of roughing/smoothing it b4 and am itching to get back to it.
I run a small motorcycle workshop just outside Gorebridge, mid-lothian and make knives with a home made propane forge in my spare time, i also shoot air rifles and am a fairly good field archer.
Love the wealth and diversity of information on this site and have a fair bit of reading to do before i ask any questions, and prob wont have to ask many once am done reading.
So here i am,
If any of u are local to me and fancy a shot of the forge to make your own knife we fire it up usually one sunday a month. Dont be shy, i love showing ppl **** i know, an i def dont know everything.

Billy, just give me a bell on 07895-453-080 during work hours(10am till 7ishpm), its the work number, we can arrange something no problem, i am more than happy to share what i know.
if u got a facebook u can see the forge fired up an some friends using it... (sai-ko sai-klz on facebook)... an some of the basic knives we make.(we are into the whole mountain man, basic tool kinda style).
